# David Tran

Dr. David (Duc) Tran is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts in Boston (USA), where he is Director of the Network Computing Lab. He is also a Research Professor at Vin University and a Blockchain collaborator at the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Studies in Mathematics (VIASM). He has cofounded, advised, and invested in several startups leveraging blockchain for fintech, edtech, real estate, retail, and entertainment.
